The Yankee Street Fair was founded in the early 1980's by members of the Bolton Congregational Church (BCC), a picturesque, historic church located in the center of the quaint New England town of Bolton, Connecticut. The Yankee Street Fair was consistently held each summer on the church grounds until its last appearance in 1998 when the iconic Yankee Street Fair tent was retired after enjoying too many summers in the sun.
This year, a small group of BCC members have graciously adopted the undertaking of reviving the Yankee Street Fair for the first time in over two decades! The fair aims to bring families and residents of Bolton and surrounding towns together for a day filled with laughter, fun, animals, music, vendors, food, and a little friendly competition. For its comeback, the Yankee Street Fair will be bigger than ever before. The fair will span the entire Bolton town center from the Bolton Town Hall, to the church grounds, BCC's Chandler Hall, and even the Bolton Town Green! We invite families, Connecticut residents, local business and vendors to come and enjoy the day's events and build lasting relationships with the community.
The Yankee Street Fair takes place from 11am - 7pm and our attendees will be serenaded the entire time by local acoustic performers.
Children and animal lovers can enjoy our petting zoo and mini pony rides featuring some famous animals! Brought to us by Christine at LTD Animals www.LTDAnimals.com
